We chose Fires & Heating Ltd., Perth for supply and installation of our Yeoman CL5 Gas Fire and balanced flue based on the quality of information, service and attitude displayed at their Perth premises. Subsequent service and information was provided regularly and unprompted throughout the contract and the ultimate installation carried out cleanly, quickly and hassle free. We would recommend this company.

As you know the installation was completed yesterday and to say that we are delighted would be an understatement. Since the first day that I walked into the showroom and talked to you about the project it has been a delight to deal with yourself, Bob, Wayne, and the young lady in the office. Communication has been excellent throughout and I have known at every stage what would be happening and when, even when third party subcontractors were involved. I had two survey visits to ensure that even after the order was placed the installation would go smoothly without any surprises holding up progress. During the installation Bob and Wayne were friendly courteous efficient and a pleasure to have in the house, ensuring all disruption was minimised the furnishings were protected and the room was cleaned at the end of the day. Throughout the installation my opinions were sought to ensure the desired outcome although they clearly knew the best way to achieve this. Your slogan States that “You’ll enjoy our company!!!“ I absolutely have. Thank you very much.

We recently had Craig from Heat-it install a replacement boiler after our old system failed. He provided a very competitive quote for the work, was able to complete the job the day after receiving the quote and finished the installation to an extremely high standard. He checked we were completely happy with all of the work before finishing. The fact that the warranty period for the Worcester Bosch boiler installed comes with 10 year coverage for parts and labour instead of the standard 5 years because of their accreditation plus Heat-it including two years of servicing was something we really liked. The team worked flat out after we had a boiler system fail. The boiler was a 12 year warranty 30kw Worcester Bosch, no other supplier could offer a free boiler warranty period this long. They were extremely professional and helpful. The price was about £1000 less than larger companies and they offered 0% finance.

Stephen from Mercer plumbing was round a couple of hours after my emergency call late on a friday afternoon during a very busy period (burst pipes everywhere in central Scotland!). He identified my boiler fault which was leaking water, conducted a prompt check - frozen condensate overflow drain pipe - and solution and provided much needed reassurance that the problem was minor and reversible.
