Established in 1979, Elliotts who operate The Cambridge Renewable Energy Centre have extensive knowledge in supplying and installing Energy Efficient heating and cooling systems. With our installation partners we have installed over 5,500 heat pumps. Our showroom demonstrates every type of air conditioning. Wall, ducting, cassette, and universal each system is on display. We are C1 approved Daikin installers and work closely with a few ground source heat pump partners based in East Anglia.

Established in 2001 by Building Surveyor James Dodson, Rutland Building Services undertake construction work, ranging from small to medium sized alterations of local properties, to handling much larger domestic and commercial developments. Over the last ten years, Rutland Building Services has built an excellent reputation. Our success has enabled us to take on more ambitious contracts. Rutland Building Services have projects which vary from domestic alterations and refurbishment works for local Charity Housing Associations, to barn conversions, ecclesiastical works, maintenance and repair of listed properties, right through to new build contracts, including private dwellings, industrial units, and agricultural developments. Hillestad Heating was a start-up company in 1988. Five dedicated, hard-working guys, with different expertise in all different aspects of HVAC joined forces. With a plan that took over a year to develop (as business picked up & grew) the group finally had enough business to sustain and employ all of them. Like most businesses they worked out of personal vans, and garages. For the first year Terry Hillestad’s garage was the main shop. Eventually they had enough business to open an official office, in downtown Lodi, that was in the basement of a dental office. In 1991, Hillestad bought vacant land in an industrial park to build the first official office and sheet metal shop.
