Team East Lothian Athletics Club was formed in 2012 by the three county athletics clubs; Dunbar Running Club, Haddington Running Club, and Musselburgh and District AC. The initial aim was to develop an East Lothian-based pathway for young athletes to reach their full potential. The club now has a strong specialist coaching team supporting a large group of young, keen athletes who are delivering inspiring results at Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field, and at Cross Country events at local, district, national, and international levels. Team East Lothian now works together with the other clubs to promote athletics to people of all ages and abilities across the county through a variety of programmes, competitions, and events.
