My Mum, brother and I arrived for lunch to celebrate my birthday today. We were very impressed with our meals. Really nicely presented and tasty. There was a mix up... with our sweet order, however when the sweets arrived eventually, they were lovely. The waiter very kindly explained that there had been a mix up with the order. We explained that we realised the hotel was busy in the dining room and I believe there was a wedding on that day. The waiter explained that we would not be charged for our sweets due to the delay. We thought that was so kind. As the food in the restaurant is so good, we will of course be back. Thank you to all the hotel staff for a lovely lunch.

Finally a top rate high tea menu at affordable prices without skimping on quality of ingredients used. Went here for a birthday tea today service was excellent from all... staffed especially the barman, warm and friendly atmosphere. Don't drive past just pop in and see for yourselves

The Kirkcaldy Social Group of Seescape (for the visually impaired) enjoyed an amazing Afternoon Tea as an Easter treat. Great service and an amazing selection of sandwiches, sausage rolls, scones,... and cakes. Thanks to the staff.

Just back home after having a wonderful Mothers Day meal with all the family. The food was absolutely amazing and enjoyed by everyone at our table. The set up for... the meal was lovely and the flowers/candles on the tables were a beautiful touch. The saxophone player was a lovely welcoming touch and it was clear to see the effort the owners put in to make it a memorable Mother’s Day meal. Thank you 😊 looking forward to our next visit.

Amazing meal. Great value, staff were on the ball with our large table of 8 plus a high chair! Will definitely be back soon.

We were so glad we chose the Strathearn for lunch. It has a lovely atmosphere and the staff were friendly and professional. They all looked happy in their work which... is always a good sign. I had smoked haddock tagliatelle and my husband had steak pie. Both were delicious and well presented. Very reasonably priced too. We will certainly make a return visit.

First visit in a few years for an evening meal for a birthday celebration .Good menu all the usual choices you can have , large portions , fish, steak pie,... fillet steak and lasagne all very good , will certainly be back ,great service as well from Joe and team

Dinner with family. Delicious and large plateful. Macaroni was lovely as was steak pie and Anstruther battered haddock. Great prices. Would definitely recommend and we would return again.

Went here for Christmas lunch today with my craft group from East Wemyss and couldn't fault it! The food was delicious! No scrimping on ingredients either..big plates full..and service was... spot on. The waitresses clearing away empty plates swiftly and efficiently. I'd definitely go back! It's also a hearty, cosy, welcoming entrance to step into!! Lovely old worlde decor, sweeping staircase and gorgeous big fireplace too.
