I was so pleased with the work that Steve carried out. Firstly he spent over 10 minutes on the phone with me putting my mind at ease and talking through what the problem could be. Then he came out very quickly, even though it was the Christmas period, and fixed the boiler. all it needed was a service which was a big relief. McQuillan Boilers, Ken Crockett/Dennis Martin/Ray Appleton and various engineers have worked for me on the site at Clayton, maintaining services and attending to any breakdowns NOX and SOX chimney records are also provided. I moved to McQuillans in 2011 following works by a previous contract not meeting our strict standards on site. The following works listing have been completed on site down the years: 6 monthly burner service, NOX and SOX records and combustion checks; 12 monthly full boiler preparation for statutory insurance inspections, and complete re-builds post inspection, test and run up of boiler, complete gasket set replacement; Supply and set up of temporary boiler, wagon mounted, to provide us with steam coverage during site boiler inspections, coupling up to utilises etc; Yearly economiser strip for visual inspection, and 5 yearly pressure test for insurance inspections; Installation of invertor to FDF and the wiring completed, drawings updated etc; 5 yearly brick work removal from burner head for weld inspection, re-build of cement blocks and re-fire boiler. Coded Welding repaires to boiler tubes to the satisfaction of our insurance company. McQuillans have provided me with a 24hr call our service, which we have used for breakdowns, we we are a single stream boiler, running a 24/7 operation to 6 re-actor ovens and heating requirements across the site.
