We chose Fires & Heating Ltd., Perth for supply and installation of our Yeoman CL5 Gas Fire and balanced flue based on the quality of information, service and attitude displayed at their Perth premises. Subsequent service and information was provided regularly and unprompted throughout the contract and the ultimate installation carried out cleanly, quickly and hassle free. The installers were very clean and efficient, they were very helpful with the operational instructions and returned the next day to check everything was ok. As you know the installation was completed yesterday and to say that we are delighted would be an understatement. Since the first day that I walked into the showroom and talked to you about the project it has been a delight to deal with yourself, Bob, Wayne, and the young lady in the office. Communication has been excellent throughout and I have known at every stage what would be happening and when, even when third party subcontractors were involved. I had two survey visits to ensure that even after the order was placed the installation would go smoothly without any surprises holding up progress. During the installation Bob and Wayne were friendly courteous efficient and a pleasure to have in the house, ensuring all disruption was minimised the furnishings were protected and the room was cleaned at the end of the day. Throughout the installation my opinions were sought to ensure the desired outcome although they clearly knew the best way to achieve this. Your slogan States that “You’ll enjoy our company!!!“ I absolutely have. Thank you very much.

ST services saved me and my sons life, not long after a gas safety certificate was wrongly issued by the council Simon spotted carbon monoxide spillage a leak that was so toxic if it had gone un noticed for any longer than a few minutes it would have been potentially life threatening! I am so grateful for his eye to detail and initiative.

Brilliant lads, can't praise them highly enough! They came out the same day to service the boiler, had to condemn it, and were back a few days later to fit the new one. Both lads were lovely and Simon came back in the evening after I'd finished my work to explain how the new set up worked. Fantastic service and thank you so much

I used MyBuilder.com to find an engineer, Simon came out tops with his speed of response, his knowledge of the boiler I wanted, his keen pricing, agreeing a time to fit it, the speed that he fitted it, he brought his dad, we spent more time taking about the past, Simon did not mind as he is a very nice guy, someone you can trust, my boiler is up and running, no problems it is silent, in fact my kettle makes more noise.

Phoned ST Gas Monday, Simon came out to see us Tuesday needed my boiler changed quickly he didn't have anything for Thursday so that was great. Simon and his boy's came first thing on Thursday morning worked all day with a 15 min break finished Thursday about 4pm. Changed boiler with new combi had to renew all my pipes, removed tank in loft and flushed and cleaned radiators out, thank you so much Christine Anderson.

I needed to remove an old electric space heater and hot water immersion system with a brand new condensing boiler, flue, pipework, rads and controls in a terraced 2 bedroom rental property. This all had to be done remotely as I live in England. I found Simon’s company via his glowing reviews on the net. He promptly picked up the keys from my letting agency, visited the property, gave me a clear understanding of what needed to be done, and quoted a reasonable price.

My Mum, brother and I arrived for lunch to celebrate my birthday today. We were very impressed with our meals. Really nicely presented and tasty. There was a mix up... with our sweet order, however when the sweets arrived eventually, they were lovely. The waiter very kindly explained that there had been a mix up with the order. We explained that we realised the hotel was busy in the dining room and I believe there was a wedding on that day. The waiter explained that we would not be charged for our sweets due to the delay. We thought that was so kind. As the food in the restaurant is so good, we will of course be back. Thank you to all the hotel staff for a lovely lunch.

Finally a top rate high tea menu at affordable prices without skimping on quality of ingredients used. Went here for a birthday tea today service was excellent from all... staffed especially the barman, warm and friendly atmosphere. Don't drive past just pop in and see for yourselves

The Kirkcaldy Social Group of Seescape (for the visually impaired) enjoyed an amazing Afternoon Tea as an Easter treat. Great service and an amazing selection of sandwiches, sausage rolls, scones,... and cakes. Thanks to the staff.

Just back home after having a wonderful Mothers Day meal with all the family. The food was absolutely amazing and enjoyed by everyone at our table. The set up for... the meal was lovely and the flowers/candles on the tables were a beautiful touch. The saxophone player was a lovely welcoming touch and it was clear to see the effort the owners put in to make it a memorable Mother’s Day meal. Thank you 😊 looking forward to our next visit.

We were so glad we chose the Strathearn for lunch. It has a lovely atmosphere and the staff were friendly and professional. They all looked happy in their work which... is always a good sign. I had smoked haddock tagliatelle and my husband had steak pie. Both were delicious and well presented. Very reasonably priced too. We will certainly make a return visit.

Went here for Christmas lunch today with my craft group from East Wemyss and couldn't fault it! The food was delicious! No scrimping on ingredients either..big plates full..and service was... spot on. The waitresses clearing away empty plates swiftly and efficiently. I'd definitely go back! It's also a hearty, cosy, welcoming entrance to step into!! Lovely old worlde decor, sweeping staircase and gorgeous big fireplace too.

Today I had Troy from Timberline install a replacement water softener with updated mainfold. Because of damage due to a frozen water line I also installed new water shut-off valve for one of my outside taps. Excellent work!

Over the last month we have had two jobs carried out by Alistair Thorpe’s. The engineer was Lewis, who did a wonderful job. He was very courteous turned up before the time that was scheduled and made sure that when he was finished, he left our kitchen and bathrooms spotless.
