We are one of the oldest and most successful athletics clubs in the country, with athletes aspiring to compete at the highest level. Our inspirational club is run wholly by volunteers with community athletics at its heart.
The English Schools Championships are often regarded as the pinnacle of any young athletes’ track and field career. For many the event is held with great anticipation and excitement, as it provides a platform for them to showcase their talents and compete against the best young athletes in the country.
Saturday 23rd March 2024 marked this years AGM. This year we took the opportunity to incorporate our AGM with a social event, which was well attended by members and guests alike. The event was a great success, with a number of important matters discussed and decisions made.
The Southern Counties Vets League, with a home fixture held at our own Norman Park track. For those who are unfamiliar with the league, it is a series of races for veteran athletes (over 35 years old) from clubs across the Southern Counties.
The Jack Petchey Foundation is a London-based charity that supports young people aged 11-25 through a variety of initiatives, including grants for youth projects and educational programmes.
Blackheath Harriers in the 1930s The club has a rich and illustrious history, dating back to its founding in 1859. Over the years, Blackheath Harriers has produced a number of world-class athletes, including Olympic gold medallist, Steve Cram.
We are fully accredited by the England Athletics governing body.
Our club is run by a team of dedicated volunteers who are passionate about athletics.
Blackheath & Bromley Harriers has been providing athletics opportunities for over 15 years.
The club is a member of England Athletics, the national governing body for athletics in England.
