“The engineer arrived 45 mins late, with no notification or response to my text and no apology. I was charged for 1 hours labour (£102) for the boiler service (small service). (used to be £60 per hour) now charging VAT. The engineer broke a pin in the air valve of my pressurised cylinder when trying to change it, even though I told him to leave it as it was ok under pressure and not a problem during the past year. I was charge for the repair and time, this cost me another hours labour + VAT (they wanted to charge me two hours for their mistake.) I complained to the company but they insisted it was leaking, not the case.”
