LEADING THE WAY SINCE THE 1930s
From pre-war domestic and commercial refrigerators to today’s sophisticated cold stores, air conditioning, cooling and ventilation systems Crowther & Shaw Limited have always been prepared to move with the times. Formed in Huddersfield in the 1930s as a plumbing and electrical contractor working only in the local area Crowther & Shaw have evolved over the years into a nationwide mechanical contractor. Moving into the growth industry of commercial refrigeration after the Second World War and again following market trends into the field of air conditioning in the 1980s.
Crowther & Shaw have always embraced new technologies. Still based in Huddersfield we are proud of our Yorkshire heritage and have managed to merge solid, honest principles with modern technologies to become one of the norths leading contractors. We celebrated 80 years as a limited company in 2014 and are looking forward to the next 80 years with the same enthusiasm and commitment to quality and service that has served us so well in the past!
